Certified NeuroChange
Professional
- Next Certification begins January 5, 2026
- 4 experience-based, media-enhanced courses that last 4 weeks for each course. Certification is completed in under 4 months.
- You will not take this alone. You will be in a cohort (5 to 12) that becomes a vulnerable, safe community of encouragement and support.
- Meet weekly for 90 minutes on Thursdays at 4 pm EST.
- Learn at the intermediate level: 8 NeuroChange strategies and 8 NeuroRelational skills, 2 of the NeuroAssessment Techniques
- Gain multiple templates with general steps to guide people to the healing experiences they desperately need.
- Practice using these strategies and skills and receive feedback from your instructor to become an expert clinician.
- You will have the right to use the curriculum, multiple templates and uniquely created videos. You are even permitted to adapt these and put them on your letterhead.
- You are entitled to one 30-minute supervision for each course at a separate time to review a recording or verbatim of a session.
- Emerge with a prestigious certification that positions you at the forefront of neuroscience-based strategies within a Biblical worldview.
- You have the support of your classmates and a seasoned professional instructor as you take this course. You are not alone.

The National Board for Certified Counselors has approved the Makin Institute for NeuroChange as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7487. Watching a recording will not count toward the 24 CEs according to NBCC guidelines.

- Learn how to treat Personality Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Depressive and Bipolar Disorders, Addictions, Trauma, Stress Disorders, Feeding and Eating Disorders, Dissociative Identity Disorders
- Utilize at the advanced level to use the 8 NeuroChange Strategies, 8 NeuroRelational Skills, and 4 NeuroAssessment Techniques. You will also receive
- 2 experiential-focused, media-enhanced courses that last 4 weeks for each course. Certification is completed in 2 months.
- A Master’s degree is required or completion of the NeuroChange Professional Certification.
- Meet in a weekly Virtual Classroom for 90 minutes on Wednesdays at 4 pm EST. Watch live demonstrations and video examples, have your questions answered, and continue building deep connections with classmates.
- You will have the right to use the curriculum, multiple templates, and uniquely created videos. You are even permitted to adapt these and put them on your letterhead.
- Practice using these strategies and skills. You will receive one 30-minute supervision feedback for each course by your Instructor to review a session recording.
- Emerge with a prestigious certification that positions you at the forefront of neuroscience-based strategies integrated with Biblical principles.
- You will also receive 12 CEs for attending the Virtual Classrooms. The National Board for Certified Counselors has approved the Makin Institute for NeuroChange as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7487.
